New Housing Action Team
The New Housing Action Team is working on a proposal for the formation of a city Housing and Neighborhoods Commission.

Climate Action Team
The Climate Action Team is looking at the city’s solar panel fee and recycling possibilities for downtown businesses and working to promote the city’s tree canopy program.

Housing Revitalization Action Team
The Housing Revitalization Team worked with People of Engagement Bowling Green (PEBG) and BGSU Undergraduate Student Government and Graduate Student Senate to develop an informational event for renters titled Lease in Peace: A Renter’s Toolkit. The team may continue this outreach through tabling events this summer and fall.
The Housing Revitalization Team is also initiating a South Main Springs Alive project to spruce up the South Main Street block between Ordway and Sandridge. Work will begin on April 6 in connection with the BGSU Spring Day of Service.

Transportation and Mobility Action Team
The TMAT is seeking volunteers and nominations for intersections and crosswalks that are challenging for pedestrians as part of the Walk Audit that the team will launch in May. The initial audit will be followed up with another when the university is in session in the fall. The team is also looking at the city’s codified ordinances that address pedestrian and bicycle safety for updates that may be needed.
